...started CJ’s Butcher Boy Burgers in 2005 in the 1600 sq ft building found at 624 S Knoxville Ave, Russellville, AR. While Richard had many careers in his life such as serving in the US Army, working alongside his two uncles to open the first of many Chicken Country restaurants, and even owning Wilson Motor Company in Pine Bluff, he knew his true calling was to go back to his roots and became the founder of CJ’s Butcher Boy Burgers. For 13 years Richard ran CJ’s with so much love and passion for his business and customers. He wanted everyone to get to know his family, as he got to know theirs. Richard filled his restaurants with all kinds of family photos showcasing his favorite people.
